Get an Aerial View of Web Pages with Birdview
Birdview is a free Chrome add-on developed by Jess Telford that provides users with an aerial view of web pages. With just a click of the "B" key while on any page, Birdview allows you to see the entire web page at a glance.
In addition to its main feature, Birdview also offers customization options. By right-clicking and selecting "options," users can change how Birdview works to suit their preferences.
While Birdview is a useful tool, there are a few known issues to be aware of. Firstly, after installing Birdview, users must refresh open pages once. However, all new tabs will work without the need for refreshing. Additionally, elements with position:fixed may lose their fixed behavior once Birdview is activated.
Furthermore, resizing the browser window in Birdview mode can cause the aerial view to be improperly repositioned. Users should also note that if they fit the whole page into their viewport using the browser's native zoom, Birdview might misbehave.
Lastly, Birdview may not work well with documents where the body content has overflow:hidden. Pinch gestures on touch devices also do not continuously change the zoom level, but instead toggle Birdview on or off after a certain pinch distance threshold is met.
